Not on me, though. Lovely Stephanie who wanted the tattoo design of magnolias has sent me photos of the finished tattoo (and an in-progress shot, ouch). I think it turned out pretty fabulous! Amber from Dana Tattoo in Cincinnati did the tattooing.
Thanks again to Stephanie for getting me involved in this project - designing a tattoo was new to me and a good learning experience in doing custom work :)

it looks amazing and oh so painful!!
must be quite a feeling to know your work is on skin.
yes, I'm not sure I have what it takes to get a tattoo that big... :)
and it's a little strange to think how permanent that is! but we worked on the design together so I guess it feels like a collaborative piece that she's wearing and not just something I made, if that makes sense.
Oh, wow! I wasn't expecting the tattoo to be so large. It turned out great, and it looks like your work! And I can see how you feel strange about the permanence of it. One of the reasons why I don't have a tattoo myself. Guaranteed I would want to change the design a week later : )
there was much discussion over how big to make it and much careful measuring. personally, I would have gone smaller because I'm a wimp :)
I often think I shouldn't get a tattoo for that exact reason - what if I get tired of looking at it?! but I do think I would like to get a small tattoo sometime as a memorial to the horse I lost last fall. I think that would always feel right, unlike some random thing that I only liked for a little while.
That's amazing...your art in a living, breathing place...I love it.
That's a great tattoo. I like it a lot.
thanks, ladies!
