Potential

I had planned to take pics of the plants that are in bloom, but I really love the look of my lilies and globe thistles that are only about to bloom.  The thistle buds are maybe an inch across and they're perfect little miniatures of the purple flowers to come.  The lily leaves are a little scarred from a recent hailstorm but they've pulled through just fine and the little buds are getting bigger every day.

Cold June

I braved the cold today (in the 50s) to take a few pics of the garden and wild roses in bloom.  Winter was rough on the roses on our property line--most of them have died back by half or so.  What blossoms there are smell delicious though.
