My creative space today

I've been admiring Belinda's My Creative Space posts every week so I thought I'd put one up of my studio.  I've been working at the table instead of the easel because these pieces are so small.

More creative spaces here.

Thanks for visiting, becclebee! And Hollie, I'm so glad you decided not to tidy up :) But I fear you might be teasing me a little bit...zen? organized? really??

Thanks (I think :) I should do more of these photos so you can track the movements of the heaps of stuff on my table...it would be like watching the tides go in and out.

i read this one last week, sorry i forgot to stop in! i work at my desk too rather than my easel {due to lack of space really} and sometimes find myself sitting, standing to get a better view, then sitting again! do u do that?

Quite all right - thanks for coming back!

One of the things I like about these deep panels is that I can pick up the painting and turn it upside down which is great for looking at the composition. Or tilt it back and forth in the light to check that I didn't miss a spot, etc. When I work larger the easel lets me reach the whole painting without leaning over the canvas and smudging things :)
