Clematis

So this vine looked dead for quite a while this spring and turned out to be a clematis.  It's uh...kind of flowery now.  I never grew a clematis back home and I didn't realize they'd be so overwhelming.

No new paintings to show you all, I'm afraid.  I'll be glad when these online classes are over because it seems like to make up for the fact that you don't have to go sit through lectures or take exams (at least for these two), the professors are giving us way more reading and writing assignments.  I don't mind writing papers, but I'd rather do a few longer ones than a ton of shorter ones.

Good luck Janelle with all your paper writing- I hope you are having a fab long weekend!

what a beautiful plant! it certainly is overwhelming.

i completely agree about preferring fewer larger papers over a lot of smaller ones because the hardest part for me is that stage where you have all your information and you're just starting to organize your thoughts and sources. to have to do that stage over and over is just torture.

i hope you had a great weekend!

Wow, thanks Annamaria! You're so sweet :)

Hollie, yeah, I think that's a big part of it. I don't mind it once I've gotten going, but starting is tricky. And I had a nice weekend but that means I have a lot of school work to do today...meh.
